Predefined instructions

The UX Writing Assistant offers you a list of predefined instructions that help you compose guidelines and create guardrails for the model suggestions without having you to type prompts.

The available predefined instructions are as follows:

Tone

Specifies the tone of the generated suggestions. It’s recommended to use no more than 2-3 types simultaneously and to avoid including contradicting tones (e.g., Formal and Casual) to prevent confusion.

  • Apologetic. Acknowledges mistakes or shortcomings and expresses regret or remorse.
  • Inviting. Creates a welcoming atmosphere and encourages audience participation or engagement.
  • Catchy. Prioritizes attention-grabbing headlines, phrases, or hooks to captivate interest quickly.
  • Conversational. Adopts a relaxed and informal tone, as if speaking directly to the audience in a friendly manner.
  • Convincing. Emphasizes strong arguments, evidence, or persuasive language to sway opinions or decisions.
  • Casual. Relaxed and informal in tone, suitable for laid-back approaches.
  • Intelligent. Showcases depth of knowledge, sophisticated language, or complex ideas to demonstrate expertise and credibility.
  • Confident. Exudes assurance and self-assuredness, projecting certainty and authority.
  • Crisp. Clear, concise, and to the point, avoiding unnecessary verbosity or ambiguity.
  • Engaging. Captures and maintains interest through compelling storytelling, interactive elements, or relatable anecdotes.
  • Empathetic. Demonstrates understanding, compassion, and sensitivity towards feelings, needs, or concerns.
  • Exciting. Conveys enthusiasm, energy, and excitement, sparking anticipation or thrill.
  • Friendly. Conveys warmth, approachability, and affability, creating a sense of camaraderie.
  • Formal. Adheres to established conventions of polite and proper language, suitable for professional or serious contexts.
  • Funny. Incorporates humor, wit, or clever wordplay to entertain and amuse.
  • Happy. Evokes feelings of joy, positivity, and contentment, spreading cheer and optimism.
  • Helpful. Provides useful information, tips, or solutions to address needs or challenges.
  • Informative. Focuses on delivering factual information, insights, or explanations to educate and enlighten.
  • Playful. Adopts a lighthearted and whimsical tone, encouraging enjoyment, spontaneity, and creativity.

Length

Instructs the model to limit the suggested content with a definitive or relative constraint. To show relative instructions, type any number with your keyboard keys.

  • Shorten. Make the content shorter.
  • Expand. Make the content longer.
  • Keep current length. Maintain the current length of the content.
  • Limit to X characters. Specify a character limit.
  • Limit to X words. Specify a word limit.
  • Limit to X sentences. Specify a sentence limit.

Element

Gives the model more context on the parent component of the rewritten text element.

  • Popup. Suggestions will generate concise and attention-grabbing messages suitable for appearing as separate windows or dialogue boxes on top of the main interface, ensuring that the content effectively delivers important prompts or alerts to users.
  • Tooltip. Content suggestions will be brief and informative, providing helpful hints or explanations tailored to specific UI elements when hovered over or focused on, ensuring that the content enhances user understanding and navigation within the interface.
  • Title. The model will generate succinct and impactful titles to provide clear identification or context for sections, pages, or components within the interface, ensuring that the content effectively conveys the purpose or focus of each section.
  • Paragraph. Suggestions may involve longer-form content with multiple sentences or paragraphs, providing detailed descriptions, explanations, or content within the interface, ensuring that the content is coherent, engaging, and informative for users.
  • CTA (Call to Action). Content suggestions will be action-oriented and persuasive, encouraging users to take specific actions such as signing up or making a purchase, ensuring that the content effectively motivates users to engage with the interface.
  • Button. Suggestions will generate clear and actionable button labels or messages, indicating the purpose or action associated with each button, ensuring that the content facilitates intuitive user interactions within the interface.
  • Heading: Suggestions will provide clear and attention-grabbing headings to introduce or label sections or subsections within the interface, ensuring that the content effectively organizes and structures the interface for easy navigation and comprehension.
  • Body text. Content suggestions will involve informative and explanatory content that forms the main content area of a page or section within the interface, ensuring that the content effectively communicates relevant information to users.
  • Sub-header. Suggestions will include clear and concise sub-headings to provide additional context or organization within sections or subsections, typically displayed in a slightly smaller font size compared to headings, ensuring that the content enhances the readability and organization of the interface.
  • Input placeholder. The model will generate clear instructions or examples displayed inside input fields to guide users on the expected input format, ensuring that the content assists users in providing accurate input within the interface.
  • Input title. Suggestions will provide clear and descriptive labels associated with input fields, indicating the purpose or type of information expected, ensuring that the content effectively guides users in completing forms or providing input within the interface.
  • Error message. Content suggestions will include clear and informative error messages to communicate issues or errors to users, providing guidance on how to resolve them effectively and ensuring a smooth user experience within the interface.
  • Warning message. Suggestions will involve generating clear and concise warning messages to alert users about potential risks or consequences of their actions, ensuring that users proceed with caution and avoid unintended errors within the interface.
  • Information message. The model will generate helpful tips, explanations, or notifications to provide additional context or guidance to users, ensuring that the content enhances user understanding and facilitates smoother interactions within the interface.
  • Form. Content suggestions will provide clear labels and instructions for input fields within forms, guiding users through the process of providing information or preferences, and ensuring that the content streamlines form completion and submission within the interface.
  • Dialog. Suggestions will include clear and concise messages or prompts suitable for appearing in dialog windows or boxes, ensuring that the content effectively requests user input or confirmation before proceeding with a task within the interface.
  • Link. The model will generate clear and descriptive link labels, indicating the destination or purpose of each link, ensuring that the content facilitates intuitive navigation and exploration within the interface.
  • Checkbox. Suggestions will involve generating clear labels and options for checkboxes, indicating the choices available to users, ensuring that the content facilitates easy selection and input within the interface.
  • Radio button. Content suggestions will include clear labels for radio buttons, indicating the options available to users and allowing them to select only one option from a list of choices, ensuring that the content facilitates intuitive selection within the interface.
  • Menu. Suggestions will generate clear and organized lists of options or commands for selection, typically displayed in dropdown or hierarchical structures, ensuring that the content enhances user navigation and exploration within the interface.
  • Dropdown. Content suggestions will involve generating clear labels and options for dropdown menus, allowing users to select one option from a list of choices, ensuring that the content facilitates intuitive selection and navigation within the interface.
  • Progress bar. The model will generate clear visual indicators of task or process completion status, ensuring that the content effectively communicates progress and status updates to users within the interface.
  • Loader. Suggestions will include clear visual indicators that content is being loaded or processed, reassuring users that action is being taken, and ensuring that the content enhances user experience during loading or processing within the interface.
  • Alert. Content suggestions will involve generating clear and attention-grabbing messages or notifications to inform users about important events, updates, or actions, ensuring that the content effectively alerts users and facilitates timely responses within the interface.
  • Tabs. Suggestions will involve generating clear labels for navigation tabs, indicating the different sections or views available within the interface, ensuring that the content facilitates intuitive navigation and exploration for users.
  • Header. The model will generate branding, navigation links, and other essential elements displayed at the top of the webpage or interface, ensuring that the content enhances brand identity and facilitates easy access to key features within the interface.
  • Footer. Suggestions will involve generating supplementary information, links, or navigation options displayed at the bottom of the webpage or interface, ensuring that the content enhances user engagement and provides additional resources or support within the interface.
  • Search. Content suggestions will involve generating clear and user-friendly search functionalities, allowing users to input queries or keywords to search for specific content within the interface or website, ensuring that the content facilitates efficient information retrieval and exploration for users.

Case

Specifies the casing that should be applied on generated suggestions.

  • Sentence case. Capitalizes only the first letter of the first word in a sentence. Subsequent words are in lowercase unless they are proper nouns or acronyms. Example: “This is an example sentence.”
  • Title case. Capitalizes the first letter of each word, including articles, prepositions, and conjunctions, except for shorter words like “a,” “an,” “the,” “and,” “but,” “or,” and “of” unless they are the first or last word. Example: “This Is an Example Title.”
  • Lowercase. Converts all letters to lowercase, meaning that no letters are capitalized. Example: “this is an example in lowercase.”
  • Uppercase. Converts all letters to uppercase, meaning that all letters are capitalized. Example: “THIS IS AN EXAMPLE IN UPPERCASE.”

Custom instructions
